New headquarters, new board of directors and new council

On February 13th, 2014, the Official Australia Brazil Chamber of Commerce had its headquarters officially transferred from São Paulo to Belo Horizonte. On this occasion, Dr. Hélio Júlio Marchi handed over the presidency to Dr. Ezequiel de Melo Campos Netto and new directors and advisors were elected.

COCBA celebrated its 25th anniversary in November 2013 and, over this quarter century, relations between these two Southern Hemisphere giants – Brazil and Australia – have grown in strength, bringing numerous benefits not only to their respective economies, but also for their social and cultural development.

According to Ezequiel de Melo Campos Netto, “the Chamber will make all efforts to further strengthen the partnership between the two countries.”
